How to use the online guitar pedalboard
Connect the guitar through a compatible audio interface, press Connect guitar and allow the browser to use the interface input. Choose a complete preset when you want a quick starting sound, or select each slot and build the chain one effect at a time.
Choose effects and shape the signal
Every slot can hold one Jamuzo effect. Select a pedal, switch it on and adjust its controls while you play. Use the cabinet selector to change the final speaker character, then balance the input, noise gate and master controls so the sound remains clear and responsive.
Keep the response fast and natural
Wired headphones or direct wired monitoring provide the lowest practical delay. Bluetooth devices add latency that the website cannot remove. Close other audio applications if the browser cannot access the interface, and avoid running several demanding browser tabs while playing.
Your guitar audio remains private
The live signal is processed locally in the browser with the Web Audio API. Jamuzo does not record, store or upload the incoming audio. The current board configuration is saved only in local browser storage so it can remain available on the same device.
Move from learning into your own guitar sound
Open the pedalboard from a chord, scale, progression, key or tuning guide, then return to the Jam Machine and practise the same musical idea with a backing groove. The five verified Jamuzo libraries explain the music while the pedalboard lets you shape how it feels and sounds.
Connection, latency and privacy
What do I need to use the Jamuzo Pedalboard?
For an electric guitar, use a USB audio interface with an instrument or Hi-Z input. Wired headphones or direct wired monitoring are strongly recommended because Bluetooth adds noticeable delay.
Does the pedalboard upload or record my guitar?
No. The live guitar signal is processed locally by the Web Audio API inside the browser. Jamuzo does not upload or save the audio stream.
Why does the pedalboard need microphone permission?
Browsers classify every audio input, including a USB guitar interface, as a microphone source. Permission is required before the page can receive that live input.
Can I use the pedalboard on a phone or tablet?
Yes, when the device and browser support a compatible audio interface. A desktop or laptop generally provides the most predictable low-latency experience, while mobile hardware and adapters vary.
Are my pedal settings saved?
The current board is stored locally in the browser. It remains available on the same browser and device unless local site data is cleared.
How do I reduce delay or feedback?
Use wired headphones, close other audio applications, select the correct interface input and begin with a low master level. Keep speakers muted while the live guitar input is active.
