Terms of Use

The rules for using Jamuzo, the guitar learning library, virtual band and Guitar Passport.

Last updated: 24 July 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Jamuzo, including the interactive jam application, guitar learning library and Guitar Passport features. By using Jamuzo, you agree to these terms. Mandatory rights that apply to you as a consumer remain unaffected.

1. The service

Jamuzo is an educational and creative music service operated by Digital zone s. r. o. It provides interactive audio tools, guitar information and optional account features. The service may be improved, corrected or updated over time.

2. Guitar Passport accounts

You may use public parts of Jamuzo without an account. A Guitar Passport is optional and free unless a clearly described paid service is introduced in the future. You must provide accurate account information, keep your password confidential and notify us if you believe your account has been misused.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account. We may suspend or remove an account that is used unlawfully, threatens the service, infringes another person’s rights or repeatedly breaches these terms.

3. Acceptable use

You may use Jamuzo for personal practice, learning and other lawful purposes. You must not attempt to damage or overload the website, bypass security or access controls, probe private systems, introduce malicious code, automate abusive requests, scrape the service in a way that harms its operation, or use Jamuzo to violate applicable law or third-party rights.

4. Content and intellectual property

Jamuzo’s software, design, branding, text, diagrams, illustrations and original audio arrangements are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party and open-licensed components remain subject to their own licences and notices included with the service.

You may view and use the website as intended. These terms do not transfer ownership of Jamuzo or grant permission to reproduce, resell, republish or create a competing copy of substantial parts of the service without prior written permission.

5. Educational information

Chord names, tuning information, practice guidance and other educational material are provided in good faith. Musical instruments, strings and setups differ. Retune gradually, follow the instrument manufacturer’s guidance and obtain qualified help when a setup change may affect safety or the instrument.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep Jamuzo reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, technical faults, browser limitations or events outside our control may temporarily affect the service. Features may be changed or discontinued when reasonably necessary.

7. Disclaimer and liability

Jamuzo is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital zone s. r. o. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.

8. External links

Jamuzo may link to third-party websites. Those services are controlled by their respective operators and their own terms and privacy policies apply.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the law of their country of residence. Courts and dispute-resolution bodies with jurisdiction under applicable law remain available.

10. Contact and changes to these terms

Questions about these terms can be sent through the Contact page. Material changes will be published on this page with a new update date.
